Cauich

Cauich is an NPC in the Natlan region of the game Genshin Impact. He serves as a guard for the Children of Echoes tribe, protecting their Obsidian Totem Pole. Players can access the Children of Echoes reputation system and claim rewards by speaking with him. Cauich possesses an "ancient name", has experienced death, and believes that failure is a step towards glory. He shares information about Natlan's tribes with the Traveler, including that the Obsidian Totem Pole symbolizes the connection between the tribe and the Nation of the Night, and only a few revered individuals can communicate with the Nation of the Night through it. Cauich encourages the Traveler to help the tribe with commissions, emphasizing that in Natlan, failed warriors have the chance to try again.
