Kaiulani

Kaiulani is a character from the Natlan region in Genshin Impact, known as a warrior from the hot spring village with a love for hot springs. In the official lore, she was one of Natlan's most renowned warriors and frequently hosted parties at the hot springs, referring to the attendees as her 'hot spring buddies.' Despite being a powerful warrior, her name is also derived from Princess Ka'iulani of Hawaii (1875-1899), who did not inherit the throne. In Genshin Impact, Kaiulani also participated in and won the 'Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Fire' tournament. Additionally, another character named Mualani, also a notable warrior from Natlan, is described as a watersports enthusiast and tour guide. Both names have Hawaiian origins, suggesting that the Natlan region may draw inspiration from Hawaiian cultural elements.
