Alrani

Alrani is a notable non-player character (NPC) in Genshin Impact, known for her academic journey across the continent of Teyvat. She is first encountered in the Liyue region, specifically at Lingju Pass, where she is held captive in a cage by Treasure Hoarders. After players rescue her, she reveals a clue about a hidden treasure, initiating the side quest 'And This Treasure Goes To.' Alrani's journey doesn't end there. She continues her research in the Sumeru region and appears in a series of related world quests, including 'In Another Land' and 'The Lengthy Pursuit of Knowledge.' Despite being a side character, Alrani's storyline is well-loved by players for her unique personality and her persistence on her academic path, with some players even expressing sympathy for her. Her story is a reflection of the deep lore and storylines behind many NPCs in Genshin Impact, adding more depth and emotion to the game.
