The Retribushroom, also known as the Whirling Pyro Fungus or Kindlejoy, is a unique Pyro-elemental fungus enemy in Genshin Impact. Known for its robust defense and rapid movement, it's considered a challenging foe. Its diverse attacks include an area-of-effect burst that pulls enemies closer and skills that buff its own defense while continuously damaging nearby enemies. Legend has it that this fungus originated from the soil of the crater left by Rex Lapis' meteor during the Archon War. In the game, it is often mentioned by players due to its unique mechanics and name. It also appeared as a capturable and trainable fungus in the limited-time event 'Fabulous Fungus Frenzy', where players could name it. Additionally, materials dropped by Retribushroom have some use in character development.
