Mountain King

In Genshin Impact, the "Mountain King" refers to a powerful world boss known as the "Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King," also called "Kongamato." It is located in an underground cave in the Natlan region, specifically between the Sulfurous Veins, Tepeacac Rise, and Scions of the Canopy areas. This boss is an overgrown Yumkasaur that became massive due to overindulging in Flamegranates. The Mountain King's main attacks include stomping, swinging, and throwing and swallowing Flamegranates, which it then spits out for area-of-effect attacks. Players can counter by igniting the Flamegranates before the boss swallows them, dealing damage. The materials dropped by the Mountain King are used to ascend the characters Kinich and Kachina. Additionally, "Mountain King" also refers to a five-star claymore weapon named "Fang of the Mountain King," which is Kinich's signature weapon. This weapon is forged from pure turquoise and is named for its immense weight, enhancing the wielder's damage through elemental skills and reactions like Burning and Burgeon.
