Clymene

In Genshin Impact, Clymene, also known as Kuriyume, is a mysterious character encountered in Enkanomiya. She was a handmaiden who served the 'Sunchildren' during the Byakuyakoku (White Night Country) era and now exists as a remnant shade. Players will meet her during the world quest 'The Phaethons' Syrtos.' She asks the Traveler to offer Sango Pearls at seven royal tombs containing the relics of the 'Sunchildren' to appease their souls. Clymene's backstory draws from the Greek myth of Clymene, one of the Oceanids, who was the mother of Phaethon, the son of the sun god Helios. In the game, Clymene, despite her service to the 'Sunchildren', feels guilty about their demise and seeks their rest with the Traveler's help.
