Boucicaut is an NPC in the Fontaine region of Genshin Impact. He is the owner of "Damoville Purveyor," an experienced traveling merchant. After many years of conducting business abroad and building a vast network of connections, he returned to Fontaine to continue his business. In the game, players can find him in the Quartier Lyonnais of the Court of Fontaine where they can purchase various ingredients and goods such as mushrooms, marcotte, salt, pepper, onion, milk, tomato, cabbage, potato, wheat, glabrous beans, almonds, and fermented juice. Boucicaut is not only a shop owner, but he also appears in some commission quests, such as "Aesthetics of Criticism: Practice", where he interacts with the painter Depierris and helps players complete the quest. He is also an important vendor for Fonta drinks. Although he is skilled in business, it is not necessarily his true passion. Boucicaut's image and name may be inspired by French historical figures or literary works, resonating with the strong French cultural atmosphere of the Fontaine region.
