Lamanai

Lamanai is an upcoming character in Genshin Impact, associated with the Natlan region. She is an NPC responsible for enforcing the rules of the arena and is speculated to be a member of the Flower Feather Clan. It's also possible that she is involved in crafting the masks sold at the arena. In the real world, Lamanai is a significant Mayan archaeological site in northern Belize, known for its exceptionally long occupation spanning three millennia, from the 16th century BC through the 20th century. The site held an important position in the Maya civilization and was not abandoned at the end of the 10th century AD, unlike most Classic-period sites. Lamanai in Genshin Impact likely draws inspiration from Mayan culture, blending it with the game's fantasy setting to create a unique character and cultural background.
