Tonina

In Genshin Impact, Tonina is a character who first appeared in version 3.2. She is a mercenary from the Eremites, a group of mercenaries in the Sumeru region. In the main storyline, she appears alongside Mualani to inform the Traveler about the return of the team from the Night Warden Wars. She is also involved in the Natlan storyline, participating in the 'Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame' event. Tonina is not a playable character, but she is well-liked by players due to her personality and voice acting, especially in the scene where she defends Kachina. Tonina's English voice actress is Valory Pierce, who also voices other NPCs in the game. Furthermore, Tonina is also the name of an ancient Mayan archaeological site in Chiapas, Mexico, which was once a rival city-state to Palenque.
