Aether

Aether is the male protagonist in the open-world action RPG, Genshin Impact, and one of the playable 'Travelers'. He and his twin sister, Lumine, were originally travelers across different worlds until they were separated by an unknown god upon arriving in Teyvat. Driven by the desire to reunite with his lost sister, Aether embarks on an adventure across Teyvat. He is known for his quiet determination and resilience, and for forming strong bonds with his companions. Aether has the unique ability to harness different elemental powers by resonating with the Statues of the Seven throughout the world, making him a versatile combatant. His name, Aether, is derived from ancient Greek and refers to the substance that fills the upper regions of space. In Japanese, his name is Sora, which means 'sky,' while in Chinese, his name, Kong, represents emptiness and the vastness of the universe, reflecting his role as a traveler.
