Jiehu

In Genshin Impact, 'Jiehu' is the human alias of the Liyue adeptus 'Mountain Shaper' (also known as 'LiShui DieShan ZhenJun'). He and 'Moon Carver' (Houzhang) take on mortal forms to experience life in Liyue Harbor. The name 'Jiehu' is derived from the 'hu', a tablet held by ancient Chinese officials during court, possibly alluding to his solemn and traditional nature as an adeptus. In the game, Jiehu is depicted as a composed and experienced character, though he occasionally shows his unfamiliarity with the mortal world. His interactions with Houzhang add humor to the game. While Jiehu currently appears as a generic NPC model, many players hope for his future release as a playable character.
