Orobashi / Orobaxi

Orobashi, also known as the Watatsumi Omikami, is a significant ancient serpent god in Genshin Impact. Originating from beyond the Dark Sea, Orobashi led banished people to establish Watatsumi Island. Highly revered and worshipped by the island's inhabitants, it was considered their guardian deity and taught them farming and smelting. Its remains can still be found in Inazuma at Serpent's Head and Enkanomiya, while its lingering power has manifested as Tatarigami, influencing the island's nature and the minds of its people. Although ultimately slain by the Raiden Shogun, Orobashi's legacy remains profound for the people of Watatsumi, and its story deeply impacts the game's plot and world.
