Orobashi no Mikoto

Orobashi no Mikoto, also known as Watatsumi Omikami, is an ancient serpent deity in Genshin Impact, revered as the guardian of Watatsumi Island. He led the people of Enkanomiya from the Dark Sea to the surface. Orobashi possessed a massive body adorned with colorful coral and was worshipped as a god. During the Archon War, he clashed with the Raiden Shogun and was ultimately defeated on Yashiori Island, his body cleaved in two by her Musou no Hitotachi, leaving behind the Musoujin Gorge. Despite his death, his remains and influence linger, with the people of Watatsumi Island continuing to venerate him and believing he granted them knowledge of farming and smelting. Orobashi's story is a significant part of the lore of the Inazuma region in Genshin Impact.
