Arapas

Arapas is an Aranara from Vanarana in the Sumeru region of Genshin Impact, first appearing in Version 3.0. He is a cook who is passionate about finding the best quality water, with his name "Arapas" meaning "water" or "juice" in Sanskrit. In the World Quest "Aranyaka," the Traveler encounters Arapas and helps him find the 'Living Spring' for his cooking. He and his siblings are very interested in cooking, and their names are related to cooking. Arapas has a unique view of water, believing that clear and pure water is the best for cooking, and he is constantly seeking better water sources, even venturing north in search of them. In the storyline, he also asks the Traveler to taste his cooking and demonstrates his unique taste understanding and obsession with water in the dialogues.
