Jacques

Jacques is a non-playable character in Genshin Impact who appears in the Fontaine region's storyline. He was a Sinthe dealer who, regretting the harm caused by the drink, turned to help Callas with his investigation. He was found dead from gunshot wounds on the night he was supposed to meet with Callas, which led to Callas being accused of his murder. However, as the story progresses, the truth behind Jacques' death emerges, revealing that it was more complicated than it seemed. He becomes a key figure in unraveling a conspiracy in Fontaine. In the game, his family can be found in the Poisson region of Fontaine, where more information about him can be gathered. Jacques' character might be a reference to French explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau.
