Narcissus

In Genshin Impact, Narcissus is not a directly playable character but a pivotal figure deeply connected to the storyline of the Fontaine region. He was once a member of the Narzissenkreuz Institute, which housed many orphans, including later important characters such as Jakob and Rene. Narcissus is actually the alias of Rene de Petrichor, an idealist who tried to save Fontaine, but whose methods ultimately led to tragedy. He viewed himself as a 'Dragon' and led the Narzissenkreuz Ordo. In the game's story, players must gradually uncover his and the Narzissenkreuz Institute's secrets through the 'In the Wake of Narcissus' quest series and confront his minions. Narcissus's image in the game is complex, portraying him both as a hero and a villain, and his story is full of pathos and a struggle against fate. A key item associated with him in the game is the 'Sword of Narzissenkreuz.'
