Jakob Ingold

Jakob Ingold is a complex and significant character in the Fontaine region of Genshin Impact. Originally named Jakob Baker, he was from the Fleuve Cendre area of Fontaine. After losing his parents in childhood, he was sent to the Narzissenkreuz Institute. There, he met and befriended Rene de Petrichor, Alain Guillotin, and Mary-Ann Guillotin. Later, Jakob was adopted by Karl Ingold and together with Rene, researched the powers of the Abyss. He became a 'Neohuman' and co-founded the Narzissenkreuz Ordo with Rene, dedicated to combating the doomsday prophecy. Jakob’s journey is filled with tragedy, as he seeks power and a way to save the world, even resorting to absorbing the flesh of Elynas, ultimately leading him down an unconventional path.
