Carole

Carole is a significant Melusine character in Genshin Impact, brought to Fontaine by the Iudex Neuvillette around 400 years ago. She was the first Melusine to join the Marechaussee Phantom and receive the Medal of Peace, sacrificing herself to prove the innocence of the Melusine race. Carole's bravery and sacrifice ultimately led to the acceptance and respect of Melusines in Fontaine society, and she is seen as a symbol of peaceful coexistence between Melusines and humans. She partnered with Vautrin, the captain of the Special Security and Surveillance Patrol, to work in the Marechaussee Phantom and was a trusted subordinate of Neuvillette. Carole's sacrifice remains a lasting regret for Neuvillette.
