The Witch

In the world of Genshin Impact, the concept of "witches" is primarily embodied in two aspects. The first is the mysterious organization known as the "Hexenzirkel," a secret group of powerful witches with long lives and immense power, who have a profound impact on the history and fate of Teyvat. Known members include Alice (Klee's mother), Rhinedottir (Albedo's creator), and Barbeloth (Mona's master). They often gather in a secret location floating above Mondstadt, where they exchange information and ideas in the form of tea parties. The other aspect is related to the culture of Inazuma, where "miko" or shrine maidens serve the gods in the shrines, playing a key role in rituals and purification ceremonies. For example, Kuki Shinobu comes from a family of miko but eventually chose to leave the shrine to pursue the freedom she craved. In conclusion, both "witches" and "miko" in Genshin Impact possess extraordinary powers and unique backstories, making them an integral part of the game.
