Caribert

Caribert is a significant character in Genshin Impact's storyline, first appearing in the Archon Quest of Version 3.5. He is the son of Chlothar Alberich, a Khaenri'ahn survivor, and is of mixed heritage, with both Khaenri'ahn and Mondstadtian blood. Following the fall of Khaenri'ah, Caribert was cursed and transformed into a Hilichurl. His father, Chlothar, attempted to restore his son's sanity using the power of the Abyss, which resulted in a temporary return to human form. However, upon seeing his cursed appearance, Caribert was consumed by despair and the Abyss, becoming a key figure in the Abyss Order's 'Loom of Fate' plan. Caribert's story provides insight into the fall of Khaenri'ah, the origins of the Abyss Order, and hints at connections to both the Traveler and Kaeya.
