Bertrand

Bertrand is a toy merchant from Fontaine who appears in Ritou, Inazuma in Genshin Impact. He plays a significant role in the limited-time event "Core of the Apparatus," where players assist him in collecting materials and crafting toys. Bertrand's presence highlights Fontaine's culture, which emphasizes technology and the arts. In the game, he provides a gadget called the "Material Collector" to aid players in gathering resources such as ores, flowers, and fruits necessary for crafting toys. By completing the event quests, players can earn rewards like Primogems, character EXP materials, weapon ascension materials, and Mora. They can also exchange redemption vouchers for special dynamic robot furnishings. Bertrand’s dialogue also highlights the unique energy system of Fontaine. While he is not a playable character, he serves as an NPC who gives players a deeper understanding of the Fontaine region, which has not yet been released.
