Little Mao

Little Mao is a significant NPC in the Chenyu Vale region of Genshin Impact, first appearing in the world quest series "Chenyu's Blessings of Sunken Jade." He is a bright and friendly young boy, curious about stories, eager to earn Mora, and enjoys having fun. Little Mao loves listening to stories, especially those told by Lingyuan about ancient battles and people in Chenyu Vale. In the quests, he guides the Traveler in search of clues to help restore Chenyu Vale's water and soil. After completing the quests, Little Mao can be found randomly in places like Qiaoying Village, interacting with characters such as Fujin and Lingyuan. He is also friends with a sacred beast named Lingyuan (whom he calls "Bluey"), who cares for him, often brings him fruit, and shares stories of the past. Little Mao's sister used to work in Qiaoying Village, which has led to some speculations about his connection with another character named Zhiqiong.
