Giverny is a small village in the Normandy region of France, located on the banks of the Seine River. It is world-renowned for being the home and inspiration of the Impressionist master Claude Monet. Monet lived here for 43 years and created many famous paintings, particularly his series of water lilies from his pond. The Giverny gardens are divided into two distinct areas: the Clos Normand, with its vibrant flowerbeds, and the Water Garden, with its Japanese-style pond. Today, Monet's house and gardens are a major tourist destination, attracting visitors from around the world. Beyond Monet's home and gardens, Giverny also offers other attractions, such as the Museum of Impressionism and the Sainte-Radegonde Church. The village also attracted many other artists to live and paint, earning its reputation as a center for Impressionist art. In the game Genshin Impact, Giverny is a character from Fontaine, and is married to Bernette.
