Zuria Destree

Zuria Destree is a memorable NPC in Genshin Impact, first appearing in the version 4.2 event, "Thelxie's Fantastic Adventures". She is a mother desperately trying to help her son, Lescot, who suffers from "uncontrolled fantasy". Her son is immersed in a fantastical water kingdom of his own creation and believes himself to be Thelxie, the prince of that realm. Initially, Zuria is depicted as a somewhat unreliable narrator, deeply in love with her son and trying her best to bridge the gap between the real world and her son's imagined one. As the story unfolds, players realize that Zuria might also be struggling with some form of mental distress as she sometimes confuses reality with fantasy. She embodies a mother's boundless love and determination to overcome obstacles for her child. This resonated with many players. Although she is not a playable character, her close connection to the game's plot and the story behind her makes her an unforgettable character in the world of Genshin Impact.
