Elynas

Elynas is an Abyssal beast that appears in Genshin Impact, arriving in Fontaine during the Cataclysm 500 years ago. He is considered the "father" of all Melusines. Initially, Elynas floated in cosmic darkness, feeling lonely and sad, before being given life by "Gold". He was granted a strong body, a beautiful name, and was told he would have many siblings and friends with whom to enjoy beautiful sights. However, Elynas's existence proved to be a disaster for Teyvat, as his blood is highly toxic to other living beings. Realizing he only brought pain and destruction, Elynas chose to cease fighting and die. While his body petrified, his consciousness remained, and he was pleased by the life that later appeared within him. His body became a site for research and the origin of the Melusines.
