Wriothesley

Wriothesley is a Cryo catalyst character in Genshin Impact and the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide, an underwater prison in Fontaine. He was once an orphan who was adopted by a wealthy couple, but he was imprisoned for killing them after discovering they were child traffickers. Later, he rose to become the administrator of the prison. Wriothesley is a close-range fighter who uses cryo-infused gauntlets instead of typical catalyst attacks, dealing damage through his enhanced normal attacks and charged attacks. His abilities often involve manipulating his own HP to boost his damage, and he gains additional buffs when his HP falls below a certain level. Wriothesley is portrayed as a complex character with a troubled past, a sense of responsibility, a touch of dark humor, and a desire to protect those in his care.
