Arapandu

Arapandu is an Aranara character in the Sumeru region of the game Genshin Impact. He is a key figure in the "Varuna Gatha" questline of the Aranyaka quest series, first encountered in Apam Woods. Arapandu plays an important role in repairing the Varuna Contraption and works together with the Traveler. His name, "Arapandu", is derived from Pandu in the Indian epic Mahabharata, a mythological figure. Although Arapandu's speech can sometimes be unclear, he is said by other Aranaras to think a great deal, and he also tells many stories to other Aranara. In the game, Arapandu gives the Traveler a flower used to power the Varuna Contraption, controlling the flow of water to bring life to the forest. He is a key character in helping the Traveler repair the Varuna Contraption and understand the story of the formation of the Sumeru rainforest.
