Momoyo

Momoyo is a memorable non-player character (NPC) in Genshin Impact, who first appears in the Inazuma region's hidden world quest series, 'The Very Special Fortune Slip.' Initially presented as a shrine maiden at the Grand Narukami Shrine, responsible for interpreting fortune slips, players discover her true identity as a member of the Shuumatsuban, a secret organization under the Shogunate. She possesses exceptional combat abilities and a profound sense of duty. Momoyo lost an eye during a mission, a fact she treats with remarkable nonchalance, further adding to her appeal as a resilient and slightly tsundere character. She previously adopted Gendou Ringo, an orphan also known as Lyudochka, and provides players with significant assistance during the questline. Momoyo's narrative reveals the choices she makes concerning duty, sacrifice, and compassion, as well as the burden she bears as a member of the Shuumatsuban. Although not currently a playable character, many players express hope for her inclusion in the Traveler's party in the future.
