Oz

Oz, whose full name is Ozvaldo von Hrafnavines, is Fischl's night raven familiar and companion in Genshin Impact. He appears as a purple raven with grey/white eyes and a prominent crest, capable of wielding Electro energy. Oz is not just an ordinary animal; he is capable of speech, a rarity in the game. He is summoned into battle using Fischl's Elemental Skill, Nightrider, and Elemental Burst, Midnight Phantasmagoria, assisting her in combat. In the lore, Oz's manifestation is tied to Fischl's acquisition of her Electro Vision on her fourteenth birthday, and he is considered a subconscious manifestation of her power, sharing a soul and fate with her. In-game, Oz is not only Fischl's combat partner but also her translator, converting her unique "chuunibyou" speech into understandable language. He loyally serves Fischl but occasionally expresses his opinions on her behavior in private. Though his true identity and independent existence remain a mystery, players typically view him as a distinct being from Fischl, demonstrating his own thoughts and perspectives in the story.
