Durin

Durin, also known as the Corrosive Dragon, is a significant character in the game Genshin Impact. Created by the Khaenri'ahn alchemist Rhinedottir (also known as 'Gold'), Durin is one of the Abyss's creations. Originally, Durin was not evil but was sent to explore the world. However, he was later corrupted by Gold and became a monstrous dragon that attacked Mondstadt. During the battle with the Anemo dragon Dvalin, Durin was defeated and his remains became the Dragonspine mountain range. Despite his death, Durin's poisoned blood continues to contaminate the land, and his heart still beats in a cave in the Dragonspine region. Recent plot developments suggest that Durin may be resurrected, creating a new connection with the player.
