Vennessa

Vennessa is a significant historical figure in Genshin Impact, not a playable character, but a hero who left a deep mark on Mondstadt's history. She lived about a thousand years ago and was originally from the nomadic Muratan tribe, known for their red hair. After being attacked by a dragon named Ursa, Vennessa and her people were forced to flee to Mondstadt, where they were enslaved by the nobles. In the Colosseum, she demonstrated extraordinary combat prowess and, along with her sister Lind, became known as the "Lionfang Knight." Vennessa eventually became the champion of the arena. Using this as a springboard, she, along with Barbatos the Anemo Archon and other allies, overthrew the aristocracy of Mondstadt and established the Knights of Favonius, becoming its first Grand Master, known as the Dandelion Knight. Legend says that at the end of her life, she ascended to Celestia, transforming into a falcon and becoming one of Mondstadt's Four Winds, the "Falcon of the West." There is a huge oak tree in Mondstadt's Windrise which is said to be the place where Vennessa ascended.
