Uncle Tian

Uncle Tian, whose real name is Tianshu, is a member of the Liyue Qixing in Genshin Impact, holding a crucial behind-the-scenes planning and advisory role. Unlike other Qixing, he rarely appears in public, preferring to operate from the shadows. The title 'Uncle' stems from the Chinese term '叔' (shū), which conveys a friendly and dependable elder image, creating an interesting contrast with his position as one of the Liyue Qixing. In the game, Uncle Tian is known for his profound insight and experienced manner, maintaining composure even in dangerous situations. He enjoys fishing, which appears to be not only a pastime but also a way for him to contemplate matters. In the version 2.7 storyline, due to health reasons, Uncle Tian considers stepping down, triggering a succession event highlighting his deep concern for the future of Liyue. Additionally, Uncle Tian is a challenging NPC in the Genius Invokation TCG, where players can duel with him.
