Moon Carver is an Adeptus residing in Liyue in Genshin Impact, known for his kind and compassionate nature. He is a disciple of Rex Lapis and witnessed the founding of the Guili Assembly, assisting in the relocation of people during times of disaster. Alongside other Adepti like Cloud Retainer and Mountain Shaper, he protects the people of Liyue. He typically appears in the form of a deer and generally dislikes taking on a human form, though he will do so under special circumstances. In the storyline, he aids the Traveler in uncovering the truth and joins other adepti in combating threats to Liyue. While many players have expressed hope for him to become a playable character, he appears as an NPC in version 4.4, utilizing the standard Liyue male NPC model.
