Pervases

In Genshin Impact, Pervases, also known as the Copper Sparrow, is a memorable character. He was once a member of the Yaksha, adepti who defended Liyue, and perished in the war against the fallen gods. His soul lingered in his temple, and he used an adepti technique called 'Mortal Lingering' to create an illusory body, wishing to see Liyue in its current state. Players encounter him during their adventures and help him fulfill his wishes. Pervases' story is a poignant one, showcasing both the duty of an adeptus and the compassion and regrets of a sentient being. He also asks the Traveler to greet Xiao, which has resonated with many players, who remember him as a fallen Yaksha. His story leads to a world quest where players can help rebuild his temple in remembrance. Pervases’s narrative not only highlights the rich lore of Genshin Impact but also deepens the player’s appreciation for the characters' emotions and connections.
