Fan Er'ye

Fan Er'ye is the owner of the Heyu Tea House in Liyue in Genshin Impact. He is known for his shrewd business acumen, and his tea house offers not only delicious snacks but also invites storytellers and opera performers. Fan Er'ye is particularly known for his ability to spot talent, as he discovered Yun Jin and invited her and her Yun-Han Opera Troupe to perform at his tea house. Yun Jin's performances have brought great fame and fortune to the tea house; it's even rumored that one performance is enough to keep the tea house closed for an entire month. Despite this, Fan Er'ye's understanding of art might differ from younger generations. He favors traditional opera and is reserved about newer art forms like rock music. He has an adopted daughter named Xinyan, whom he mistakenly sees as a traditional, accomplished lady skilled in cooking and embroidery, a contrast to Xinyan's identity as a rock musician.
