Makoto

Raiden Makoto, also known by her Goetic name Baal, was the original Electro Archon of Inazuma and the predecessor to her younger twin sister, Ei. Unlike Ei's pursuit of solemn stillness, Makoto cherished each moment within time and space. Known for her gentleness and compassion, Makoto directly managed the affairs of Inazuma, while her sister served as her kagemusha, fighting on the front lines. During the cataclysm 500 years ago in Khaenri'ah, Makoto ventured alone and ultimately perished. Her death greatly impacted Ei, leading her to create the Raiden Shogun puppet and transfer her consciousness into it in pursuit of her understanding of "eternity". A fragment of Makoto's consciousness was preserved, briefly manifesting after Ei used the full power of her sword (Musou Isshin), and left behind the Sacred Sakura seed, which became Inazuma's protective force.
