Kama

In Genshin Impact, Kama is an NPC who appears in the World Quest series 'Through the Mists.' He initially appears with the name 'Kama,' but it is later revealed that he is actually the older generation Kama who left Tsurumi Island thousands of years ago, and the current Kama is his descendant. After completing the quest series, he travels with Sumida, a scholar from Sumeru, to Liyue Harbor and Mondstadt, but disappears after interacting with them. The Kama Clan are the only known survivors of the tragedy of Tsurumi Island, and they record history through a rich oral tradition. The older Kama left the island before the disaster happened. As an NPC, Kama's appearance alongside the Sumeru scholar Sumida potentially hints at his interest in ancient civilizations and historical context.
