Teppei

Teppei is a quest-exclusive NPC in the game Genshin Impact, playing a major role in the Chapter II Archon Quests. He first appears in Act II: Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow, and dies in Act III: Omnipresence Over Mortals due to the life-draining effects of a Fatui Delusion. Teppei is a member of the Watatsumi Army from Inazuma, fighting against the Raiden Shogun's oppressive rule and Vision Hunt Decree. He initially served in the logistics division before being sent to the front lines and assigned to the Gobius Platoon. In the story, he served as a guide for the Traveler and was eventually promoted to the captain of the Herring I unit. In his pursuit of power, Teppei accepted a 'secret weapon' from mysterious people, which was actually a Delusion that accelerated his aging. Despite his efforts in battle, he ultimately succumbed to the Delusion's effects and died. Teppei's story is a tragic one, highlighting the cruelty of war and the Fatui's schemes.
