花右京メイド隊

Hanaukyo Maid Team (花右京メイド隊, Hanaukyō Meido Tai) is a Japanese manga series created by Morishige. The story revolves around a young boy, Taro Hanaukyo, who inherits a vast family fortune and, more importantly, hundreds of employees working at the family mansion. While nominally referred to as 'maids,' these employees are organized into various departments, including but not limited to Defense, Science, and Catering. The manga was serialized in Akita Shoten's Monthly Shonen Champion from April 1999 to September 2006, and it is classified as a 'healing-type bishōjo comic.' The series was also adapted into an anime. The original anime aired in 2001 but was cut short due to production issues. Later, a reboot titled Hanaukyo Maid Team: La Verite was released in 2004 to address the shortcomings of the first season. This remake more closely follows the manga's plot and features significantly higher art quality. Both anime versions share the same voice actors. 'Hanaukyo Maid Team' is set in a mansion filled with beautiful girls and quirky departments, exploring the relationship between the master and his maids, and portraying their daily lives with lighthearted humor. The series has attracted many viewers with its unique setting and charming characters, although there have been some issues with the North American licensing of the manga, leading to the non-release of subsequent volumes.
