DNA² (D・N・A² ～Dokoka de Nakushita Aitsu no Aitsu～) is a science fiction romance manga series created by Masakazu Katsura. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1993 to 1994, totaling 5 volumes. The story revolves around Junta Momonari, a high school student with a severe allergy to women, and Karin Aoi, a DNA operator from the future. Karin travels back in time to prevent Junta from becoming a "Mega-Playboy" who fathered 100 children, causing overpopulation in the future. Due to a mistake, Karin accidentally shoots Junta with a DCM (DNA Control Medicine) bullet meant to transform him into her ideal husband, instead of eliminating his Mega-Playboy tendencies. This causes Junta to transform into the Mega-Playboy intermittently, attracting women against his will. The story follows Junta, Karin, and their friends as they navigate this chaotic situation, blending science fiction, romance, and comedy while trying to fix the mess and find their own paths. The manga was later adapted into a 12-episode TV anime series and a 3-episode OVA.
