Determined to prove himself, Hibiki cross-dresses with the help of his landlady, Lulu, to secure a position at the school. He then navigates the challenges of maintaining his disguise while dealing with student conflicts and unexpected affections. The anime is known for its gender-bending premise, teacher-student relationships, and school comedy elements, exploring themes of gender stereotypes and educational philosophies in a humorous way.
