"Ajimu ~Coast Story~" is an anime work that began streaming online in Japan for a fee in 2001. The story revolves around a high school student named Hozuna Ajimu and a boy from the same school named Yusuke Nakaito, unfolding as a youthful love story. Hozuna is a girl who is skilled at playing the ukulele, while Yusuke is a bit of a clumsy boy. They meet due to a misunderstanding, and their feelings for each other gradually develop through various incidents. Set on the Shonan coast, the work depicts a summer-like school life. The anime is characterized by its nostalgic atmosphere, beautiful music, and a luxurious voice actor cast including Sako Chiba, Akira Ishida, and Shotaro Morikubo. Initially released online, it was later issued on DVD and as an original soundtrack CD.
