Shamanic Princess

Shamanic Princess (シャーマニックプリンセス, Shāmanikku Purinsesu) is a six-episode OVA anime series produced by Triangle Staff, released from 1996 to 1998. The story is set in the Guardian World, an alternate dimension where magical forces are controlled. The protagonist, Tiara, is an agent from the Guardian World tasked with recovering the Throne of Yord, a magical artifact stolen by her former lover, Kagetsu. The Throne of Yord is the source of magical power in the Guardian World, and its absence or destruction could lead to the world's demise. On Earth, Tiara encounters her old friend and rival, Lena, and her partner Leon, who are also searching for the Throne. Tiara also learns that her friend Sara is trapped inside the Throne. Tiara must navigate her mission, friendships, and feelings for Kagetsu, eventually joining forces with Lena, Leon, and Kagetsu to fight against the Throne's malevolent influence, save Sara, and return the Throne to the Guardian World. The anime is known for its unique soundtrack and non-linear storytelling, with the first four episodes covering the 'Throne of Yord Saga' and the final two episodes detailing the events leading up to it.
