うる星やつら2 ビューティフル・ドリーマー

"Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer" is a 1984 Japanese animated film directed and written by Mamoru Oshii, and is the second theatrical film based on Rumiko Takahashi's manga "Urusei Yatsura." The film tells the story of students at Tomobiki High School who, while preparing for their school festival, find themselves trapped in a time loop, reliving the day before the festival repeatedly. As the story unfolds, they discover that the entire town of Tomobiki is placed on the back of a giant turtle floating in space, all of which is a dream created by the dream demon Mujaki. Known for its unique plot, philosophical themes, and visual style, the film is considered one of Oshii's representative works. It explores profound themes such as reality and dreams, time and cycles, and has had a lasting impact on subsequent animated works.
