Ruin Explorers

Ruin Explorers, also known as Hikyou Tanken Fam & Ihrlie (秘境探検ファム&イーリー), is a Japanese manga series written by Kunihiko Tanaka. The manga was serialized in Hobby Japan's monthly "RPG Magazine" starting in 1992, but it remains incomplete due to the author's repeated delays and the publication of unfinished drafts, leading to its discontinuation. An Original Video Animation (OVA) series co-produced by ANIMATE and Asia-Do was released from June 25, 1995 to February 25, 1996, consisting of four episodes. The story is set in a fantasy world where a highly advanced magical civilization has collapsed. It follows the adventures of two female treasure hunters, Fam and Ihrie, who are on a quest to find the legendary "Ultimate Power." Willing to do almost anything for money, they find themselves in a dangerous situation when they discover a mystical object of great power. Their journey involves overcoming traps, battling monsters, and dealing with untrustworthy companions in their race to obtain the Ultimate Power.
