デジモンフロンティア

Digimon Frontier (デジモンフロンティア) is the fourth television anime series in the Digimon franchise, which aired on Fuji TV in Japan from April 7, 2002, to March 30, 2003. Unlike previous installments, the children in this series do not have Digimon partners; instead, they “Spirit Evolve” directly into Digimon themselves to fight. The story follows Takuya Kanbara and other chosen children who are transported to the Digital World after receiving mysterious text messages. They acquire the ‘Spirits’ of the ancient Ten Legendary Warriors, allowing them to transform into Digimon and battle against evil forces. The series introduces the concepts of Human and Beast Spirits, enabling the children to choose different forms of evolution based on the situation. While controversial among fans at the time due to its departure from traditional Digimon elements, it has gained a dedicated following for its unique transformation system and profound growth themes, making it a significant entry in the franchise. The series also tried a new story structure by setting the adventure entirely within the Digital World, instead of traveling between the real world and the Digital World like previous series.
