Galaxy Fraulein Yuna Returns, also known as Ginga Ojousama Densetsu Yuna: Shinen no Fairy, is the second OVA series in the Galaxy Fraulein Yuna franchise. It consists of three episodes and was originally released in Japan between December 21, 1996, and May 21, 1997. The series was released in North America by ADV Films on July 13, 1999. The OVA is set after the events of the first OVA but before Galaxy Fraulein Yuna 3. The plot revolves around Yuna and her friends, as a new enemy appears in the form of three robotic sisters just as everything seems peaceful. Yuna must once again become the Savior of Light to fight this new evil. The tone of 'The Abyssal Fairy' is much darker than previous entries in the series, while still including comedy, it primarily focuses on action and drama.
