"Saint Beast: Seijuu Kourin-hen" is a Japanese anime series that centers on gods, guardian angels, animal spirits, and magic. It is a spin-off of the series "Angel Tales." It originally started as a CD drama focusing on the lives of the six Holy Beasts and their attraction to each other. Due to the huge success of the CD drama and the release of over 20 CDs, Wonderfarm created a 6-episode anime series for fan service. In 2005, two new OVAs were produced, but this time they focused on what happened back in Heaven. In early 2006, a new Saint Beast side story called "Saint Beast: Others" began. The first CD drama was released on September 21, 2006. In 2007, another Saint Beast series called "Saint Beast - Kouin Jojishi Tenshi Tan" started. The story revolves around the fallen angels, Kirin no Judas and Houou no Luca, who are released from their seals and decide to get revenge on God by destroying Heaven and creating a true paradise in Hell. Meanwhile, guardian angels on Earth begin disappearing, and Heaven is unable to explain these events. Consequently, the Four Saint Beasts are called upon to investigate the matter.
