モルダイバー

Moldiver (モルダイバー) is a 6-episode 1993 OVA anime series produced by AIC. Set in Tokyo in 2045, the story revolves around Mirai Ozora, a girl obsessed with shopping and fashion. Her brother, Hiroshi Ozora, is a genius inventor working for ZIC, a major tech corporation. Hiroshi creates the "Mol-Unit," a device that allows objects to operate outside the normal laws of physics, granting abilities such as flight, super-speed, strength, and invulnerability. Initially, Hiroshi intends to use it to become the superhero "Captain Tokyo," but Mirai accidentally alters the suit's configuration, causing it to randomly switch between Hiroshi's design and a more feminine version. Consequently, Mirai is forced to use the Mol-Unit to fight against the evil Dr. Machinegal and his robot army. The series is a comedic parody of magical girl and superhero anime, with Mirai's lighthearted approach to her newfound role as a hero. The franchise also includes manga and light novel adaptations.
