フォーチュン·クエストL

Fortune Quest L (フォーチュン・クエストL) is a TV anime adaptation of the Japanese fantasy light novel series Fortune Quest by Mishio Fukazawa. Produced by Studio E&G Films, it aired for 26 episodes between October 1997 and May 1998. The story is set in a parallel world where we meet Pastel, an 18-year-old orphan girl who lives with a group of adventurers. Pastel works as a writer and a mapper, charting towns, the countryside, rivers, and mountains with sketches and illustrations. She is highly respected by her friends for her intelligence and honesty. Living with Pastel are Clay, a young swordsman; Trapp, the son of a bandit chieftain; Kitton, a walking dictionary; Knoll, a big guy with a tender heart; Whitey, a baby dragon; and Rumy, an infant sorcerer. This unusual group embarks on various mysterious adventures, from treasure hunts to searching for missing persons, and facing challenging riddles. Fortune Quest L is a side story to the Fortune Quest series, which originated as a light novel series in 1989 by Mishio Fukazawa, expanding into manga, tabletop games, and anime. The anime adapts parts of the light novel with original characters.
